These high-quality labrador decals are a great way to celebrate your love of America’s favorite dog breed, the labrador!

A First Surface Vinyl Decal Paper

Our labrador decals are first surface decals. That means you can apply them directly to your desired surface as the labrador design is on the front side of the decal. This makes them perfect for mounting on the exterior of glass surfaces. You’ll get a vibrant look without having to worry about window glare.

Lasts Longer Than Regular Decals

Our labrador decals use a permanent adhesive that is built to withstand even the roughest conditions. If installed correctly, these decals can survive exposure to dirt, humidity, snow, rust, and rain. They are even resistant to degradation from UV light.

Due to their high adhesive backing, you can install your labrador decal on most clean and smooth surfaces, whether indoors or outdoors. The possibilities are endless! Here are just some of the places where you can install your labrador decals:

  • Cabinets, doors, floorboards, windows, mailboxes, lockers
  • Rearview mirrors, car hoods, bumpers
  • Boats, campers, wagons, bikes
  • Craft projects, posters, signs
  • Laptops
  • Luggage
  • And much more!

A Durable Decal With a Smooth, Luxurious Finish

These durable decals are resistant to fading, smudging, and scratching. They are also waterproof and tearproof. These unique properties are due to their polypropylene lamination. This popular laminate is what gives our decals their soft, smooth, and luxurious finish. It also protects the decals from dirt and fingerprints. In fact, you can even write on your labrador decal using dry erase markers.

How to Apply Your Labrador Decal Like a Pro

Applying decals can seem a bit overwhelming, especially if you’ve never done it before. Our labrador decals are designed to be easy and quick to install. However, they still need to be applied correctly if you want to make the most out of them.

Step 1: Planning

Think carefully about where you want to install your decal. Our labrador decals come with a permanent adhesive, so they can be difficult to remove.

For the best results, apply your decal to a surface that does not have any surface treatments.

If you plan on installing your decal on a newly painted surface, it is best to wait for the paint to cure first. A good rule of thumb is to let the paint cure for at least 30 days before you apply your decal.

Be careful when applying the decal to vinyl surfaces. This can include truck sides and certain banners. Vinyl surfaces contain plasticizers that can break down the adhesive.

If you’re applying your decal outdoors, you should also plan when you’re going to apply your decal. It’s a good idea to wait for a warm, dry day to install your decal. Extreme temperature can negatively affect the adhesive. If you plan on installing your decal on a car window, it’s best to wait for temperatures ranging between 50° to 90° F.

Step 2: Clean the Surface

A clean surface is the key to easy decal application. You want to make sure the surface where you will be installing your decal is clean and free of any dust.

For Glass Surfaces

Clean the glass with either a glass cleaner or mild soap and water. Then, use a lint-free cloth or towel to dry the glass. Microfiber or lens cleaners for cameras and eyeglasses are great for this. When you’re done, check to make sure that no dust specks are left behind.

Other Surfaces

Wipe the surface with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Make sure that the solvent is appropriate and won’t damage the surface.

Step 3: Position the Decal

Put your labrador decal where you want it. To ensure perfect placement, you may want to use a low adhesive tape to make sure the decal stays in place for Step 4.

Step 4: Peel and Smooth

Carefully peel the backing off your labrador decal. Apply the exposed adhesive to the application surface. Smooth down the decal using a squeegee or credit card. Continue to remove the backing, while smoothing down the rest of your decal.
